A Note From Ted Doucette

I believe that the best way to do a job is to meet the client's needs through a sensible design that meets the state regulations. Many of my clients are calling me at a difficult time if their system is in failure, they are selling their parents’ home, or if they want to build an addition. Each situation will dictate priorities that are used to find the best system to meet their needs. Clients deserve to have an engineer who is up to date with the regulations and can provide knowledge regarding health department regulations.

While there is usually one best solution that fits the circumstances, the knowledge of multiple systems and which features may be useful will produce a better result. Even more important is working with someone who can communicate simply and effectively to act as a representative with town agencies, contractors, and consultants. Bringing in someone to diagnose or fix a septic system issue on your property can be a source of stress, as not everyone is comfortable with letting a stranger come and dig up the yard with a backhoe, but when you work with Doucette Engineering & Septic Design, you can rest assured. As I work on your project, I will explain the process every step of the way so the client understands why what needs to be done is important to me. However, sometimes clients just want the problem taken off their hands, and I am fine with that, too.
